If you want people to visit your website over and over again you've got to give them something they want over and over again -- give them a reason to return. Pretty simple notion. And as they say: "K.I.S.S., Keep it simple, stupid."

The question then becomes what do people come back to over and over again? Obviously, given the diversity of peoples in the world there can't be just one answer to this question. And equally definite, but not necessarily obvious, is the fact that you really don't want to give everyone what they are looking for. Not only can't you be everything to everyone, it wouldn't be right.

Some things just don't mix -- some combinations will work and some combinations won't work. A shop which combines hair styling with a nail salon works. Customers will feel comfortable with the blending. But how comfortable do you think customers will feel coming to a shop which combines a mortuary and sausage factory? Only the Adams Family (Uncle Festor the rest of the gang) would go that combo. Hence, if your intention is to cater to 80 or so members of the Adams Family out of 6 billion people on this planet you could open such a shop. But if you have dreams of reaching a larger audience, we wouldn't recommend combining those two types of interest.

Once again while searching for features with which to decorate one's domain we are back to the primary question: "What do you hope to accomplish with your website/domain?"
